Summer Retreat 2009 Hwa Gye Sa International Zen Center in Seoul, of the Korean Buddhist Jo Gye Order, will be starting a three-month "Summer Retreat 2009" on May 9 through Ougust 5 2009. The purpose of this retreat is re-and cross-examine Buddha and Patriarchs' Wha-Du (Koan, Ancient case) in order to achieve the final enlightenment and save all beings from their suffering of life and death. Monks and nuns who speak English are welcome. The retreat is also open to everyone who can sit for minimum of one week (seven days). All attendants have to sign up before April 25, 2009.
